The chapter stresses family fun and safety, promotes friendship among Harley-Davidson riders and motorcycle riders in general. The chapter sponsors a variety of activities throughout the community, including several charity runs each year. The San Jose Chapter is a member of the Bay Area Directors alliance and the membership participates in other statewide H.O.G. runs and events whenever possible. We encourage anyone with interest in the above, and the desire to belong to a group that enjoys Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and family fun activities, to attend our monthly chapter meetings.

You must be a current H.O.G.® national member and provide us with your National H.O.G. membership number in order to join the local chapter. If you recently purchased a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, you may already be a National H.O.G. member.

Prospective members not already holding a current National H.O.G. membership card should check their status by calling 1-800-CLUB HOG. If your membership is not current, you may register or renew as a National H.O.G. member during the call. You will need to supply them with the VIN number of your Harley-Davidson motorcycle and pertinent information. They accept VISA and MasterCard to expedite your membership. At that time, you will be issued a member number that you must supply to us for your local membership. Local membership is $20 per year.

We highly recommend that you attend one of our chapter meetings prior to joining. This will give you a feel for our H.O.G. family and an idea of how the local chapter and H.O.G. in general can provide you with activities and fun related to riding your Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The chapter meets at the Santa Teresa Golf Course, 260 Bernal Road (see the link below for a map), in San Jose on the third Wednesday of each month except in December. The meeting place is the Banquet Facility (top of the hill) and opens at 7:00 PM for visiting with friends and enjoying refreshments. Parking is secure and plentiful. The meetings start promptly at 7:30 PM.

You can join our local chapter at any monthly meeting. Information, forms, and chapter patches and rockers are available at our membership table just inside the banquet room.
